Since 1990 Rutherford County Schools has been taking property tax revenues away from education and moving it to debt and other county operations.
For 2005, A national publication recognized we are taking money 'from the kids' and spending it elsewhere: 2005 EDUCATION QUOTIENT: How Well Are We Educating Our Future Workers? They gave us a 10 out of 100 on our community's financial commitment to education
